Introduction	Just bought an old victorian farmhouse in a small city in upstate New York. The entire house is in need of a little TLC (okay, maybe a lot of TLC). We are working on making this house a home and doing so on our own, with little assistance from paid professionals. Thanks to the internet, self-help books, creative energy, and my retired dad/reno guru, we are on our way to making our house reflect who we are.
