Introduction	I am a journalist and a fourth-year student at the University of Cincinnati. I am a born and raised Midwest Chicano. I am a rational optimist, daoist, and like to challenge my beliefs. I am a rock climber, poet (on somedays), and an all around adventurer. Everyday is a chance to learn something new about myself and the world around me. Keeping my eyes and mind open, I write to meditate. I write to find the significance that lays under the surface of the mundane and to dissect events and happenings that are considered extraordinary.
