Introduction	Hello, I'm Melanie and I'm a believer in marriage the right way - between a man and a woman. The goal of this blog is to express my views and the views and findings of others concerning the topic of traditional marriage, not to offend or put others down. I believe that by preserving marriage God's way, we will preserve the success and happiness of the world. Will you say "I do" to traditional marriage too?
Interests	Together, we like to play and talk, hang out with family and friends. I like to bake, make cards and scrapbook, exercise, shop, play and listen to music and read. Dave likes to go off-roading, watch movies, do fun things. Emma likes to do science experiments, dress-up and do makeup, play with her little friends, and go to the park. Callahan likes to get into everything, playing with trucks, being crazy, and play with his best bud, Emma. Lucy likes to watch the big kids, sing and babble, smile and giggle.
Favorite movies	Melanie's personal favorites include: Cinderella, October Sky, Enchanted, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Phantom of the Opera, Life is Beautiful, Elf, Charly, Anne of Green Gables. A few of Dave's favorites include: Indiana Jones, Goonies, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Newsies, Flash Gordon. Emma likes Aristocats, Tinkerbell, Peter Pan, and Ghostbusters. Cal likes to watch Veggie Tales, that's just about the only movie he will sit through.
Favorite music	Mel's picks - Ryan Shupe & The Rubber Band, George Gershwin, Hippos, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, STYX, Dave Matthews Band, Chicago, Ben Folds Five, Mozart, Rascal Flats, George Gershwin, Black Eyed Peas, The Carpenters, Lonestar, Weezer, Gwen Stefani, Jethro Tull, Barenaked Ladies, Aaron Copeland, U2, Journey, and so much more! Dave's faves - Cold Play, Billy Joel, Elton John, E.L.O., Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blue Man Group, AC/DC. Emma likes Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, jingles from T.V. and radio commercials, and songs out of the Children's Songbook. Cal likes Veggie Tales Songs, "The Peas", and the Aquabats.
Favorite books	Melanie - Book of Mormon, Twillight Series, From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, any Sheri Dew book, so many more. Dave doesn't read a whole lot during his leisure time, but he really is fascinated by reading about the human body, and of course, he likes the Standard Works. Emma likes Green Eggs & Ham as of late, along with What Makes a Rainbow. Cal loves "No, David" and "David Gets in Trouble" by David Shannon and My Colors. Lucy likes anything she can nibble on. She likes to eat paper.
