Introduction	I've been a pediatric speech pathologist for over 30 years. My career has included five years in the public schools, then eight years in private practice, then seventeen years with two sensory-based clinics offering OT, PT and ST. I've also been a public speaker for over twenty-five years and established the first magazine on the topic of sensory integration in 2004. Now in 2008 I have retired from clinical practice and publish S.I. Focus magazine exclusively, along with speaking on sensory issues around the US. Ten years ago I started volunteering and traveling to Russia orphanages where in did public speaking and training caregivers regarding sensory issues. That work led to doing the same in Romania and Bulgaria. Speaking to adoptive families is another one of my passions. I hope to share some of my insight in this blog.
