About me

Introduction	Married in 1978. Ryan born 1980, Drew 1982. We moved to Odessa and bought a NAPA store in 1984. In 2001 Ryan and Drew went with Jewel's Dad and cousin James' on a fishing trip to the ocean and never came back. We are so thankful they had made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ. Knowing we will see them again gives us comfort and makes heaven sweeter. In 2004 we moved back to the Spokane area. We have been attending Valley 4th Church and in 2008 went on a short term mission trip to China to the Shepherd's Field Children's Village, an orphanage run by the Philip Hayden Foundation. We found we greatly respected the way the orphanage was run and also fell in love with a young girl. In the process of finding out we could not adopt her, we were asked to come and join PHF by becoming house parents to those kids over 14 years of age, when they can no longer be adopted. After consideration, we have consented to going for a year, leaving around June 15th 2009. We are looking forward with excitement to loving and teaching these young people life skills and showing them Christ in our lives. We are thankful for your support, encouragement and prayers. We love you so much!
