| Introduction | I am a Singer/Songwritter, a wife of an amazing artist Neil Erickson and a mom of two awesome kids, Jessie & Axel. My debut CD, "Songs from my sofa" is now available! Check out my website: www.sherrieerickson.com to sample my tunes. I chose to be a stay-at-home mom for the past thirteen years. As a consequence my performing career was put on hold while raising my children. Never the less,my love of music has flourished in original songwriting, in this way I believe I have grown. My current CD consists of originals written from 1993 to 2008. In the Fall of 2007 I had the good fortune of connecting with the extraordinarily gifted and accomplished Henry Piovesan (pianojam.com), and under his production and guidance we have created this CD in just under one year. The songs on this debut CD are all written from everyday personal, and family experience, both ordinary and profound. I have a distinctive alto voice with a bit of a rosined tone. My songs have a range in style that can be described as contemporary adult to contemporary country. |
