| Introduction | I'm VH, and I am The Single Newlywed. I have been married less then a year, and my husband just moved 250miles away to start a new job. This is my life as I adjust to 500 mile roundtrips, a new roommate, moving (for the 4th time in 4 years), taking out the garbage, killing spiders, getting things off the top shelf and Mr. Winston, the neediest cat on the planet. Disclaimer: This is in no way, shape or form intended to disrespect, insult, or discredit military families. The men & women who serve our country and live apart from their families for extended periods of time get nothing but respect from me. I have no idea how they do it, and I doubt that I am a strong enough woman for that life. That's why I married a man in a firefighter uniform, not a military uniform. |
