Mental Health Guide For Teachers

Occupation Teacher
Introduction I am writing this blog to assist teachers who feel that they may need an anonymous spot to vent, or identify with other teachers. Teaching can be both gratifying and frustrating at the same time. Many people view teachers as "complainers" and often dismiss our concerns as "whining". However, through my years of teaching I have come to realize that the only people who truly identify with me and my moments of elation, excitement, frustration, annoyance, etc, are teacher's themselves. It is for this reason that I have chosen to call this blog the "Mental Health Guide for Teachers". It is my intention that this will be a site where I can share some of my experiences from throughout the years (both good and bad) and in the process give others the relief of knowing that there is somebody else out there experiencing the same feelings, frustrations, celebratory moments, etc. In my opinion, teaching is truly the best occupation that exists in this world. It is the most rewarding career that anybody could ever ask for...but even teachers need some support. I hope you enjoy this blog!
