| Introduction | "degrees of shining" is the name of my art studio. I draw, paint, make jewelry, and work with textiles. I also love photography and playing in the digital realm (video, digital images & Web design). Makeup arts are my newest form of self expression. I am a fine artist but have not had formal training as a makeup artist. In makeup arts, I take my fine art skills with pencil, ink, paint & pigments and move from traditional paper & canvas to the face & body. This ephemeral form of art is captured via digital photography and video and becomes at times a form of performance. |
