| Introduction | Now the founder owner of a bespoke travel venture, Birdsong & Beyond, which speciaIizes in small, highly personalisedl and off the beaten path holiday experiences. I am also a sociologist by education, and worked at RI, a WPP Group company, as a Qualitative Researcher for many years. A few years ago I started realising my childhood dream of a mountain cottage in the Himalayas, and in the summer of 2012 the dream finally came true, with our lovely Himalayan haven, Birdsong Cottage standing ready! So using that as a showcase locale and experience, and by building a network of similar holiday experiences al over India as well as a few abroad, we now offer relaxed, rooted, authentic sojourns to well known and off beat locales for families, friends, shared interest groups, small work teams and individuals.
