| Introduction | We met over dinner and drinks just under a year ago through friends at work. Over the course of three nights, we quickly took notice of one another because each night we randomly ordered exactly the same items off of several large menus. Chicken Piccata, Seafood pasta, rare steak, red wine and of course raw fish. Fast forward a couple of months and our friendship turned into everything we'd both been looking for. As we got to know each other better we found ourselves more and more often in the kitchen cooking for one another. We'd both loved cooking before we'd met, but we both had a lot to learn and plenty of experience to bring to the conversation. Last winter we watched, Julie and Julia, and we were inspired to create a blog about all the chances that we take while cooking. We are complete amateurs. We have no formal or informal culinary training, and everything we have picked up is either from random inspiration, family, the FOOD Network, or one of our bazillion cookbooks! What else is there to say? We are in love, and we love to cook. There it is. |
