| Introduction | Persephone Abbott lives in Amsterdam and is an administrator, poet and author. In August and September of 2024, she took an extended visit to the USA to (re)connect with family and friends. There she addressed the issues of trauma that she experienced and looked into her father's missing archival materials. Her travel blog is on her website persephoneabbott.com. A fictional account of looking for her father's materials is at Routine Apparitions. Persephone re-released (September 2024) the comic novel Mordecai of Monterey by Keith Kumasen Abbott. Persephone's first novel, Idle Opportunities is a short comic story about a young singer moving from Paris to the Netherlands in 1992. The book is available in paperback and ebook format on Amazon (January 2024). |
