Introduction	"I follow my intuition and listen to the inner me. I let the colours live their own life and command their own language. Harmony transforms into warm red, an intense and positive energy. In my paintings human figures often don't show what they feel on their faces. I wish to convey .. surprise…love…innocence… and these emotions come through actions i.e. body language of the figures. My earlier works (whether ink on paper, black acrylic on canvas or Wash on paper), were graceful depictions of women. The flowing of fine lines & colours of figures capture the beauty & rhythm of the women figures. And every frame glows from within. There is interplay of light and shade, creating an effect that is vibrant as well as peaceful. The streak of light that you see in my paintings indicates different meanings. It’s not just physical light, but the inner spiritual light. Most of my works depict moments of a woman, and the colours represent the bloom of romance. All the emotions are conveyed not through the face (which is left blank) but through the subtle lines of the body.”
