Introduction | Alex left school after 3rd year with no qualifications, no aspirations and with very little hope for the future. In joining the Army, however, his recognised aptitude for specialised military training tested him mentally, physically and academically beyond capacity; he was also awarded a GSM (Medal). Late in life, Alex went back to school and graduated from university with an academic qualification that most academics are unable to achieve. He was also an international sportsman who is now retired from school teaching and other activities and is now focussing on returning to the Ring. QUALIFICATIONS: Mental Health Certifications certified by the Open University and CPD Accreditation, General Teaching Council for Scotland (Full registration); Post Graduate Teachers Training; Qualified Teacher Status, England (National College for Teaching & Leadership); BA(Hons)1st Class Degree (Sports Studies); Certificate of Higher Education (PE); Higher National Diploma (Sports Coaching with Development); Higher National Certificate (Health, Fitness; Exercise); GCSE Mathematics; English; Qualified Army PTI; (TEFL) Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate (120hrs Online Teaching) |
