| Introduction | Welcome to the "official" Dave Swinger Blogger blog. Please feel free to check here and my Facebook profile (see link) often for more cool news and other stuff! Other than my love of radio and music, I am a huge pop culture nut. It fascinates me what is deemed "popular" at any given time. I love trivia! I will whoop most anyone at Scene-It. I rather watch movies than television but, anymore, it is rare if I do either. I tend to get lost in a good non-fiction book, from time to time. Truth is stranger than fiction, you know! Sometimes, I just like to get out and go for a walk for an hour or so. At times, that is the only thing that clears my mind. I tend to be an extremely random person. So, I tend to enjoy people that tend to be random, at times. Sometimes, I just enjoy people at random! :0) |

| Favorite music | jazz and swing music from the 1920s through the 1960s, most all music recorded between 1945 and 1975, music recorded after 1964 that sounds like it was recorded before 1964!, vocal harmony in all genres, bluegrass, western swing and uptown honky-tonk country music from the 1930s through the 1970s, rockabilly, jump blues, country blues, the big beat, 60s and 70s era R&B and funk - most anything that is done well. |
