| Introduction | After a peripatetic life in Asia for almost 20 years, I came home to America with three terrific dogs I adopted off the streets of Singapore and Malaysia. I am in the process of earning an MA in Latin. I love writing, reading and drawing. I love music, animals and poetry -- although I can't play an instrument or write poetry. Animals I can do, from rehabbing and rehoming strays to making friends with a wild monkey. One of my favorite poets is Mary Oliver, whose poems express what is inside me that I cannot put into words myself. I am crazy about cowboys, especially the singing kind, and love old cowboy shows, from The Lone Ranger to The Virginian. I reread P.G. Wodehouse all the time. |
