Introduction	I was born in a middle class, well structured family in São Paulo, who gave me all the support and comfort I could have. I thank my mum (she passed in 2001) and my dad for everything. I lived in Argentina and Scotland and learned a lot about life and culture there. Back to Brazil, I developed my career in teaching Business English. Later, I got a degree in Translation and Interpreting and opened a company with my 2 beloved partners. I used to live in my own apartment, where I had wonderful neighbours who make life funny and pleasant. I have a lot of friends, whose love and affection keep me going. AP's been my friend for over 25 years. She is always there for me, in happiness and sadness, in health or sickness. In fact, we are married. She does not know. Fluffy and Willy have to be mentioned. My wonderful cats live with me and even though they destroy my house, they make me happy and teach me something about motherhood. I married my beloved husband in 2010 and now, Rainer, the cats and I live happily in a tiny beautiful village in France, called Hegenheim.
