| Introduction | I was a book publicist tired of shoehorning sales figures and irrelevant company factoids into every piece of copy to keep my micromanaging jerk of a CEO happy.
To rebel, I got creative. I started writing about books in a way that showcased what was most interesting to me. Not pitching to the sales reps, not trying to hook the media outlets, just holding up a few passages here and there and playing with the ideas inside them. I also tried to keep it short, and funny. I ended up with Bitterly Books. |
