| Introduction | I run a crazy house and I've got the grey hairs to prove it. Four kids, ages 13-8 months. Three boys and a princess. I am a stay at home parent. Getting the kids to and from school and running them to soccer practice or bassoon lessons keeps me pretty busy. I wish I could say that I sat at home and ate bon bons all day but that just isn't the case. When I have a spare second I like to try my hand at crafts. I have no talent in that area and usually no patience either, but I try. Thanks to pinterest I have more than a few ideas to get me started. So while I try to be Betty Crocker, Rachel Ray, Martha Stewart and Julia Childs all in one I think I'm missing the mark. But I'm close (and that doesn't only count in horse shoes and hand grenades!) Ok, maybe not THAT close ;-) |
| Interests | I love to run! I love to run 200 mile relay races! I love to box! Hitting things is a great release. I need my own heavy bag in my garage! I love to garden but don't have the space to do it. There is nothing better than the accomplished feeling of using your own grown produce to prepare a meal! I love shoes! Shoes always fit! I like to bike but truth be known, I feel better having my feet touch the ground! I like the IDEA of being crafty but I don't have a single crafty gene in my body! I'd like to be one of those DIY, creative and thrifty green moms. But that's not happening. So I fake it! |
