| Introduction | Nina Lescher is an award-winning screenwriter, director and producer. Her first short film, To My Surprise, won Best Short at the Scary Cow Film Festival in San Francisco. Her second short, Threads of Remorse, won best mini-feature at the Bare Bones Film Festival in Oklahoma. She received her film degree at San Francisco State University while working as a writer and Associate Producer at TechTV. She completed the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA in 2012 and finished her third short Breaking In, about a lonely teenager who breaks into a stranger’s house in order to befriend them, in September 2014. A mother to two-year old twins and a loyal border collie named Tad, her work focuses on the emotional complexities of the family dynamic. |
