| Introduction | I live in the Pacific Northwest. I generally describe myself as an artist with a day job. The day job is one I thoroughly enjoy—part customer service, part data management and a few bits of creative problem solving. I have a window that looks out on a small courtyard and pond, complete with fish and turtles, and I walk nearly every lunch hour in a nearby park. For the artist part, I am mainly a calligrapher, but incorporate watercolors, acrylics, found objects and collage in my play. And I have been know to write a poem or a short story or an essay—some of which, I think, will find a forum in this blog, as they pertain to the topic. |
