Introduction	Gurpal was born and raised in the sweltering desert that is the San Joaquin Valley. She relocated to LA to pursue her education in Business at USC. After stints at an independent record label, telemarketing firm and investment bank, she moved to the bay area at the height of the dot com bubble to experience life outside of rent controlled Santa Monica. She now lives in San Francisco and works with a local bank as a financial consultant. Her hobbies include community service, challenging the dominant paradigm, pushing the limits of business casual, checking out great bands in small venues, playing futbol and twirling her thumbs
