| Introduction | I have been skating with Burn City since our inaugural practice in 2008. This is my first season as a full-time jammer, so I'm learning (and getting beat up) a lot! I am currently an ABD doctoral candidate in Victorian Literature at Auburn University. I teach literature and composition at Auburn and Columbus Technical College in Columbus, GA. I also work under Cho Cold for the CTC Writing Support Lab. I am the proud mother of a dog, Gatsby, and three cats: Prufrock, Pip, and George. I recently self-published my first novel, Pivot. When I'm not working on my dissertation (Victorian Foodways and Masculinity) and a memoir titled The Last Jam, I love watching The Office, weed whacking the yard, baton twirling, and viewing trashy reality television with my boyfriend and bench-coach, Blicker. |
