| Introduction | A former educator with 23 years in the classroom and 15 years in administration, I am now seeking ways to let my creative soul awaken once again. As a wee child, I loved to draw, make little dolls, and help my mother in the kitchen. Her piano playing introduced me to classical composers. I observed her magical hands plant seeds and bulbs which seemingly burst into bloom, making the world a miraculous place. Years later, I find myself drawn to the same things I loved as a child: art, music, gardening, cooking. I am enjoying a spiritual journey as well, as I attend daily Mass and find happiness in the Blessed Sacrament. "Mortals, join the happy chorus, Which the morning stars began; Father love is reigning o’er us, Brother love binds man to man. Ever singing, march we onward, Victors in the midst of strife, Joyful music leads us Sunward In the triumph song of life." |
| Interests | I am interested in just about everything! You name it; I want to know more about it. I dabble in art, particularly watercolors, grissaile, and drawing. You'll most likely find me with a book in hand while enjoying a nice cup of hot tea, often outdoors. I love to cook and seek new, healthy recipes. I enjoy decorating, setting the table, and creating something new. I recently embarked on getting my Master Gardener certification. |
