| Introduction | Vasilis KILIARIS (1978), is a graduate who received his BSc in Economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2003. In 2011 he obtained an MSc in International Relations at the University of Macedonia. He has written his Master Thesis on "The role of Regional and International Organizations in Conflict Resolution: the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)”. Currently, he is an International Relations Officer at the International Relations Service of the House of Representatives (Parliament) of the Republic of Cyprus, following adequate working experience in the bank, insurance and consultant sectors in Greece, in the wholesale and retail sector in Cyprus and in the European Institutions in Brussels. In parallel, he is serving as a Lieutenant (Reservist) at the Cyprus National Guard and concluding a second BA in Political Studies and Diplomacy at the University of Macedonia, with a thesis titled “Panagiotis Kanellopoulos as an (early) international relations theorist: Political Philosophy in International Relations Discipline through texts of the interwar period (1919-1939)”. |
