About me

Location Harrisonville, MO
Introduction Jerry Tabb, who was killed in an automobile accident in 1996, had worked as a title insurance agent for 16 years and was always active in our community. He was the Vice-President at Coffelt Land Title Company at the time of his death, was actively as a member of the Harrisonville Kiwanis and was a charter member of the Cass County Elks Lodge #2791. Perhaps his most proud affiliation however was being active with the youth of our area through his role as a member and counselor for the Cass Career Center (CCC) Advisory Committee for Marketing. Jerry believed that success could be achieved through the mix of hard work, perseverance and the right opportunity. In honor of Jerry’s extensive work with, and love for the youth in his community, the Jerry Tabb Memorial Trust Scholarship was formed in 1997. This $4,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a Cass Career Center graduate, helping to provide that ‘right opportunity’ Jerry believed in. Today, the ‘Road Crew’ plans and holds the annual ‘Jerry Tabb Road Trip’ Orienteering Event and now, the First Annual Jerry Tabb Road Trip Motorcycle Ride. We look forward to seeing you!
