| Interests | Our farm doesn't have a "for-real" purpose, like I'm pretty sure "for-real" farms are supposed to have. All of our animals are pets and their only actual job is to be fluffy. What I'm saying here, is I'm a terrible farmer. The hens don't always lay, the goats think they're here solely to monitor the fence for possible instabilities, and the guard dog spends all of his time guarding a squishy green ball with a sewn on face. The rest of us may be carried into the wilderness by coyotes, but that ball has every reason to feel safe and secure. Fortunately, I also have a husband who doesn't mind (terribly much) tufts of angora stuck to his laundry, middle of the night chicken rescue missions, or the eternal quest to keep goats on the inside of a fence. |
