| Introduction | Well, I'm a retired "old hippie". Really - I was at Kent State University in the late 60's; marched on the Pentagon and UN. Went to peace rallies and love ins. Even lost my first teaching job for being too radical! I've calmed down a bit, but I'm still a hippie at heart! I love to create, although I'm not an artist by any means. So I scrapbook, garden, write, and crochet. And being retired is the best gig I've ever had! I worked 30 years with people with MR/DD, and although I loved it, this me-time is such a blessing! |
