| Introduction | I am an English teacher and an aspiring author. I am a graduate of the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida. I believe education is freedom and in the spirit of that, I write to be free of all the drama of the world. This is a collection the "things that make me go hummmm" as well as topics that I find to be of interest as a woman of color in America. I believe social action is key in our progression as people in this country. Why is it that the average, hard-working, educated American educator makes an average of $40,000 or less yearly and the average athelte makes millions of dollars yearly? Are our priorities straight in America?
