| Introduction | My name is Ben and I'm 14 years old and I know what I want to do with my life. I want to be a pilot. I am in the Civil Air Patrol and I am working hard in both school and to learn everything there is to know about flying and about taking a leadership role in a military type organization. CAP is the civilian auxiliary organization of the Air Force and we learn a lot about being a prepared citizen, a strong member of a team and a good leader. It's a little harder for me because my mom is disabled and I don't have a dad, but I don't want those things to keep me from being everything I can be and I am working hard to make sure I keep moving forward toward my goals. |
