| Introduction | Colt and I met at MCC Institute in May of 2005. I thought he was SOOO handsome! He thought I was pretty cute. He let me drive his Jeep. I scared him. He didn’t ask for my #. We saw each other a few more times at ward functions. He told his brother I was “too happy” for him. He started dated a different girl, and I started dating a different guy. I went up to visit my parents after that break-up. While I was there, I substituted his mom’s Sunday school class (our parents live in the same town). While she did like me before, I think that made her really like me. She got my number and gave it to Colt. In late October, he called me and we went to a fireside together where I thought he was acting like a big dork but I still thought he was the most handsome man alive, so I asked him if he would be Ken with me going as Barbie for Halloween. … We had ups and downs in dating…I wanted to serve a mission…blah blah blah...After a series of break-ups and get-togethers (all because I was mission-bound) we went on another date December 15th…after that, no more break-ups! We were engaged on January 21st 2006 and got married March 4th 2006 in the Mesa Arizona Temple. |
