Introduction	I am beginning to understand that true 'hands-on', gardeners are wonderful people with a nurturing nature who exude an abundance of heart and spirit, qualities that I admire. For me the simplicity of digging in the earth and exchanging gardening related discoveries with other like minds is simply fun. I am a digger; whether it be in a garden, an archaeological site or on a fossiliferous beach, but at this point in time it is working in the garden that gives me the most pleasure.I even enjoy sitting on the ground in my garden and mindlessly,some would argue mindfully, weeding. I believe that both of these modes of 'thought' are essential for a healthy and happy state of mind. So, please enter my garden world and enjoy it with me. Feel free to comment on the plants that I highlight as I am certainly not a gardening expert and welcome any discussion about them.
