| Introduction | I’m Almog Arad, a GIS specialist focused on applied, real-world spatial solutions. My work centers on the implementation of GIS systems for organizations and public bodies, including infrastructure mapping, spatial surveys, drone-based volume measurements, and the management of spatial data as an operational decision-making tool. Through Almo-GIS, I design GIS solutions that are practical, accurate, and built to work in real operational environments — supporting engineers, managers, and technical teams. Alongside my GIS work, I also develop an independent international project: Story Walks – Interactive City Guides, which explores cities through smart maps, spatial storytelling, and self-guided urban experiences. This project is created in English and intended for a global audience. This blog brings together professional insights from applied GIS projects and selected spatial storytelling initiatives. |
