| Introduction | My name is Alessandra and I live in Italy with hubby, grown up son and daughter. Since I was a child I have been attracted to everything belonging to the past, everything "smelling" of old, having a story I know or that I do not know at all and simply like to imagine. I keep with jealousy objects of any kind belonged to some of my dears or my own. Vintage toys, tin boxes, linens and china, kitchen canisters, children books, especially Christmas stories. I love their illustrations, the ones showing every detail and cozy home interiors or a romantic country lane. I simply adore to bring objects or pieces of furniture to a new life, things anymore used or considered "trash" and the best way is using creativity and my own hands! So much of what sorrounds me, inspires me somehow and as time passes by my "passions" and interests keep on growing. So the web means so much to me, like an unvaluable gift. That's why I am now doing what I have been thinking about for some time : my own blog, a delightful place for sharing and getting to know. I am waiting for you... Alessandra |
