| Introduction | Whatever your expectations when you opened this blog I aim to confound them all. If you had no expectations, shame on you -have you no imagination, dear reader! May you be stimulated, challenged and inspired to your own pathways of creativity. As a 46 year old mature-age student I began a BA majoring in English and Drama, which resulted in my family fending for themselves in the kitchen most weeknights and my husband having to listen to me ranting about authors and concepts he had absolutely no interest in. 27 years later I am as much in love with the English language as I ever have been – reading, writing, speaking, it’s all grist to my mill. And my husband, bless him, still lets me bore him. My children, on the other hand, keep me up to date with technology. Hence, this blog. |
