| Introduction | I was drafted into the US Army in 1966 and served 2 years active duty with time overseas in Korea. With a little luck, rank was not hard to get. I made Sgt. E-5 in 13 months. My life got a lot easier then. Thanks to the GI Bill and some part time jobs, I got my college degree in Business Management after the Army. I didn't know there was such a thing as an "issued watch" until the internet came along. If I had known while I was on active duty, I would have thousands of them now. I am still sort of pissed that I have to buy my own now, but accumulating watches has been a great hobby. It is the only hobby I've had that I can make a little money on. |
