Introduction	I am many things (as people usually are). I'm a musician (mostly amateur for now, as I haven't finished college, and have done little recording w/most of it being informal), a music lover, a writer, a generally happy person, and as you'll see here, a blogger.
Interests	Music, singing, playing the piano, composing, playing the organ, reading, writing (poetry, blogs, and on occasion story ideas), 'rithmetic (OK--just kidding...I HATE math), being random.
Favorite movies	The Pink Panther (new one), The Lion King 1 1/2, Sabrina (newest one and NOT the teenage witch), Lilo & Stitch, Dan In Real Life, Akeelah and the Bee, Mickey Donald Goofy: The Three Musketeers, The American President, The Princess Diaries I & II, and much, much more. :)
Favorite music	Jazz by far is my favorite musical genre. I also have at least something from practically any other one...except rap and most forms of hip-hop. Some favorite artists I will list here: MoTab, Ella Fitzgerald, Feist, KT Tunstall, Regina Spektor, Jane Monheit, ADELE, Corinne Bailey Rae, Keane, Coldplay, Diana Krall, Sara Bareilles, Yael Naim, Holly Conlan, Brandi Carlile, Ingrid Michaelson, Lucy Schwartz, and the list goes on and on and on and on. Yep. It does. :D
Favorite books	Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The End (from A Series of Unfortunate Events), Ella Fitzgerald: A Biography of the First Lady of Song, The Westing Game, and the Book of Mormon. (These are just a few, btw.)

If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?

I wouldn't. :D I found out during home teaching at BYU once that I'm so prone to laughing that I can laugh on demand. If someone tells me laugh, for some reason that seems funny to me and I start laughing.
