Colourful Cooking: Integrated Ingredients for the Picky Eater

About me

Introduction	My name is Olivia and I am a mom of a toddler that just won't eat. Typical right? I have also trained as a chef at one time in my life. After months of expressing frustration to my close friend and cousin, she suggested that I start messing around with recipes to integrate ingredients that he wouldn't eat into items that he would eat. Thus began our my cookbook journey. We are putting together a book of my creations and perhaps a few suggestions from mamas who have tried the same thing. This is a project I have dreamed of creating along with a useful set of recipes for my darling little boy who just won't eat. The book will be illustrated, edited, and designed by Kira, my cousin, best friend, brilliant editor and artist. I am Kira, a writer, artist, and special education teacher. I am also a very picky eater. I love the idea of creating recipes that present nutritious foods in an appealing way without trying to deceive anyone. Everyone needs to be able to choose what goes into their body - even toddlers. I am excited to illustrate Olivia's journey.
