| Introduction | I am the guy who gets strange calls from friends and associates asking ‘what was that movie set in the 20s about those gangsters starring that guy’ and when I reply ‘The Godfather?’ they say, ‘HA, That’s it!!! I told you! You owe me $10!!!’ I am also the guy who has destroyed more relationships in pursuit of my movie obsession. I must have the best seat in my house (the seat that provides the best picture and sound in the room, of course) and must have silence during the movie to enjoy it. I have angered many people with my evil-side-eye while they dare to ask ‘whatd he say’ or they have to nerve to say ‘don’t go in there’ as though the person on the screen can hear them. I take my movie watching seriously and invite you to read and comment on my observations about movies I have seen, trailers I have watched, and movies I have heard about but refuse to watch because they are just re-hashes of other crappy Hollywood movies. |
