Introduction	The Rev. Chris Johnson serves at the Episcopal Church Center as the Social and Economic Justice Officer. Responsibilities include development of the Jubilee Ministry network, comprising of approximately 600 Jubilee Centers and 75 Diocesan Jubilee Officers throughout the Episcopal Church. He oversees the development and implementation of the Church’s response to domestic poverty alleviation. Currently that initiative includes a particular focus addressing poverty related issues defined by Native American/Indigenous Peoples. Chris provides staff support to The Executive Council Economic Justice Loan Committee, Executive Council Jubilee Advisory Committee and the Standing Commission on Social Justice & Public Policy. Chris also serves on the Board of Directors for Interfaith Worker Justice and also for Episcopal Community Services in America.
