Introduction Hi everyone! My name is Jonah Taylor, and I am currently a student at the University of Southern Mississippi. There, I am a journalism major, which is actually why I created this blog in the first place. By the way, I am totally new to this whole blogging scene so if anyone has any tips or pointers please let me know! Meanwhile, I am also a proud uncle of 4 nieces and 3 nephews (they're my favorite ppl to hang out with, shh, don't tell my friends). But perhaps the most important thing you should know about me is that I am a Christ follower. I go against the flow, b.k.a the world; therefore, I do my best to veer away from popular worldly things such as premarital sex, drugs, alcohol, profanity and all the other stuff that makes "good TV". Of course, I'm not perfect. I'm simply saved by grace. That is my truth, and it's that truth which carries me on....
Interests Writing, Photography, Film, Reading, Traveling
Favorite Movies I'm definitely a horror buff! I love movies like 28 Days Later as well as its sequel 28 Weeks Later, any modern zombie flicks, and good hardcore action films like Eagle Eye. I'm always up for a good comedy such as Mrs. Doubtfire. I also enjoy movies with a deep moral or social message like The Visitor or Crash. Oh, and I pretty much love anything with Madea, a.k.a Tyler Perry!!
Favorite Music I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to music. I'm very open-minded. I like hip hop, rock (classic and alternative), pop, very little rap and very little country. I probably listen to more contemporary christian than anything. It's good for the soul!
Favorite Books Unfortunately, I hardly ever have time for luxury reading, but I am currently in the middle of Ted Dekker's Circle Trilogy and loving every page of it! Also, one of my new favorites is CrazyLove by Francis Chan. It's a book about how CRAZY God's love is for us, and it's sure to throw you to your knees.

If your life was a television show, which one would it be? (I don't get why no one ever wants to answer this!)
