Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?
Because the sea tastes of raspberries. Because otherwise you'd mistake it for tomato flavour. Because blue food colouring is cheap and largely non-toxic. Because people with Synesthesia taste raspberry flavour when they see anything blue. Because raspberry-flavoured things were once thought to be unclean and were dyed blue to indicate that they were unfit for human consumption.
