Introduction	I am a grandmother from Ohio. I love reading, traveling and exploring new adventures. Which brings me to my 'kitchen adventures'...as a young adult I became interested in recipes, cookbooks and cooking. I combined my love of all and have maintained an avid pursuit to this day of exploring and conquering new horizons in cooking. I read cookbooks like novels. When traveling part of the joy is exploring regional cuisine and coming home to try my version of it. Newly single a few years ago a new adventure was trying to cook for one. At times, I discovered that was impossible, so re-purposing leftovers became a fun challenge as well. Saturday mornings exploring a farm market makes for a perfect beginning to a weekend. Making a delicious recipe from those fresh ingredients makes for a relaxing afternoon. Sharing it is delightful. Life can throw curve balls from time to time. Worries cannot always stay at bay. Pulling out a cookbook to read or researching a region or country and their recipes is a wonderful distraction. Emerging from this I usually find life is a glass half full again, not empty.
