| Introduction | I never thought baseball would be a part of my daily life, but here I am. Looking back it all makes sense. I grew up in a house of all girls with a father who played college football. Needless to say, being the first born I did a lot of "boy" things. I went hunting and played all sports. I was very competitive, but lacked natural athletic ability:) I even picked out a boy cabbage patch doll, which was foreshadowing. I married Wess, an amazing "boy" who has some fun hobbies including surfing! At 21 years old, I couldn't possibly imagine how great of a father and husband he would be, but thankfully God blessed me. When McKay was born, I was immediately in love and wanted nothing more than all boys. I now have 3, and feel the same way. It is a privilege and honor to raise boys and teach them to be men after God's own heart. Baseball has won as the sport of choice in our family. We all love it and can't get enough! If you know the game, you know a double play is incredible and worthy of praise, but a triple play is UNBELIEVABLE! I can't help but feel God has given me a "triple play" with my 3 boys and I feel beyond blessed! |
