| Introduction | After 41 years of working for others, I have retired and am now free to pursue my favorite hobbies & interests. Throughout the years, I've had comments about my hand crafted clothing, especially my skirts, so I have decided to make these skirts available to others. I need to give credit to my daughter, Chera, for her inspiration to make these skirts. She served an LDS mission in Fresno, California, and we just couldn't find any lightweight, washable, no-iron, easy care skirts that were modest and worked for riding a bike. So I made her whole missionary wardrobe from this type of lightweight fabric that wears and travels so well. Of course, when Chera came home, she left her actual skirts in California, so they are most likely still traveling from sister missionary to sister missionary. If you are a future Sister Missionary and would like to order a skirt or receive more information, you can contact me at jakobinemarie@yahoo.com or call me at 208-745-8471 to place an order. I will also be getting solid colors of black, brown, and dark gray in my inventory, and I'm also open to suggestions!! My store is on the Etsy link shown above, or call (208) 745-8471. |
