IntroductionI am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Thomas Metcalf Laboratory School and University High School and I am excited to work with students from Pre-K through 12th grade. I am licensed and credentialed in the State of Illinois as a Speech-Language Pathologist and as an Early Intervention provider and evaluator. Additionally, I hold my CCCs from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I received my undergraduate degree from Augustana College and my Master's Degree from Purdue University. I am currently working on my Doctor of Special Education degree here at Illinois State University {on a part-time basis}. In addition, I work as a contract therapist for Marcfirst Pediatric Therapy in Normal, IL.
InterestsSpeech and Language development, executive function skills, language processing skills, Auditory Oral therapy for children with hearing loss, Autism, Early Intervention...and when I'm not at work, I love triathlon training (that's swimming, biking and running...I completed my first Ironman triathlon in September 2013!), yoga, writing and reading
