| Introduction | I began my massage training in 1991, finding resolution with my own chronic pain issues. I studied with the most reputable healing educators in south Florida, as Jean Loving, Michael Shea and those at the Upledger Institute, who emphasized both the clinical and somatic aspects of healing. I found this approach extremely helpful in balancing my own body and now specialize in creatively integrating intuitive and technical skills, tailoring the most effective elements of my training and experience to the specific needs of each client. One of few therapists in the area to have trained directly with JohnBarnes, founder of the most comprehensive method of Myofascial Release, my abilities to help those who have not previously found benefit from body work have been profoundly enhanced. This is clearly evident in the knowledge and presence I bring to every session and the relief experienced by my many clients. Since 1991 I've worked closely with chiropractors and other physicians effectively co-treating on auto accident, personal injury and chronic pain cases. |
