Introduction | I am an ethnobotanist, anthropologist, photographer and film maker. I have written on topics ranging from shamanism to human ecology to indigenous modernity. I have made several films including the Emmy-Award-winning “Spirits of the Rainforest," and more recently "Zapatista Chronicle." I am currently a tenured researcher in the Human Sciences Division at the Goeldi Museum in Brazil. I have also worked as consultant and anthropology director for the non-profit organization Rainforest Flow. |
