| Introduction | I grew up in Santa Fe, NM and am spoiled by great southwestern food. (Yes, NEW MEXICAN is a different cuisine entirely from MEXICAN or TEX MEX.) For the first 10 years of living in New York I staunchly avoided all Mexican restaurants. Though New York does top notch world cuisine from every corner of the planet, for some reason they don't do southwestern/mexican terribly well. Until now..... I've discovered some awesome burritos in the last few months that were so impressive I decided to write a blog based on my burrito adventures. Did I mention I'm vegan?? So part of the adventure is finding the best vegan burritos the city has to offer. |
