| Favorite books | David Fulmer, Augusten Burroughs, Nick Hornby, Roald Dahl, Dave Eggers, Elizabeth Kostova, Edward Rutherford, David Sedaris, etc. My favorite book of the last several years, though, is Rob Sheffield's "Love is a Mix Tape." I rather suspect that's because I identify both with the short, effervescent southern punk rock girl and the shy Irish Catholic narrator. If you're like me and associate music with events in your life, this book will hit you hard. I read it about two months after Dad died, and it blew me away. |
